Moulage refers to applying mock pathologies to a person or mannequin. Moulage is utilized for mass casualty exercises to enhance the simulated reality of an event by using special effects makeup to volunteers or simulated mannequins.
The session will include demonstration and hands-on learning opportunities. Techniques discussed will include replicating superficial wounds using makeup and stage blood and wound prosthesis application. Instructors will review moulage materials used and creating your own kit.
