Stop the Bleed: This training is for all IMERT members. Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. That’s why bleeding control—keeping the blood inside the body—is the purpose of STOP THE BLEED® training developed by the American College of Surgeons. IMERT members who hold a medical license will also be eligible to apply for an instructor certificate at the end of this course.
